Sonnet to Sonnets

Solidify a moment or romance;
roll lovers in the fresh, clean morning dew.
Ink words on a dry page will move and dance,
provided that your sentiment is true.
Don't let the moments bright and passions strong
depart as brightly colored leaves in fall
that cling to autumn branches for so long
until a gust of wind disperses all.
When hearts cannot sing tangibly, though full
of white light objects, trembling hands and lips,
the poem is the song that gently pulls
together love and dew and fingertips.
Capture these emotions true and free
and warm a tender soul with poetry.
